If you want a small iPhone, the 13 Mini is hard to beat, especially since the Mini model was discontinued for newer iPhones. I personally know a few people who were disappointed about that change.

 It’s a good choice for parents buying a first phone for their teenager, and it suits people who mainly use their phone for calls, messages, photos, music, banking, maps, social apps and light browsing.


The main trade-off is battery life. You should avoid the iPhone 13 Mini if you watch a lot of video, game often, work from your phone or want the longest battery life. I also wouldn't recommend it for those with larger hands.
