Repairs and Physical Damage

Physical damage — what's covered and what isn't

Physical damage (cracked screen, cracked back glass, dents, bends, impact marks) isn't covered under warranty. The Warranty Policy covers internal faults that develop during normal use — not accidental damage or cosmetic wear.

Not covered under warranty:

  • Cracked or shattered screen glass

  • Cracked or broken back glass

  • Dents, bends, or frame damage

  • Any liquid damage — including brief contact with water, moisture, or other liquids

  • Normal wear and tear: light scratches, scuffs, marks

  • Screen burn

Covered under warranty:

  • Faults that develop during normal use — a speaker that stops working, charging failure, camera faults, power issues, touch not responding without physical cause

To start a warranty claim, email [email protected] with photos of:

  • The front of the device (screen on and screen off)

  • The back of the device with your case removed

  • Your current charging cable and plug

We'll review and advise on next steps. Or visit our help page.

Cracked screen — your repair options

Physical damage isn't covered by warranty, but we can still repair it. Whether you need a re-glass or a full screen replacement depends on the damage.

Re-glassing (glass-only repair)

If your outer glass is cracked but the display underneath is still working — image is clear, touch is fully responsive, no colour issues — re-glassing may be an option. This replaces only the cracked outer glass and re-laminates it to the original display. You keep your original screen quality, with no "unable to verify" messages that sometimes come with full screen replacements.

Re-glassing isn't always the right call. We run a suitability check first, and if the display underneath has any faults, we'll recommend a full replacement instead. We only re-glass when we're confident the result will last.

Full screen replacement

Where the display itself is damaged — image faults, patchy touch, OLED burn, or deep impact damage — a full screen assembly replacement is the safer repair. We use premium OLED screens that match the original specification.

To get a repair quote

Email [email protected] with clear photos of the damage. We'll confirm which repair is appropriate and give you a cost before anything is booked.

Cracked back glass

Back glass replacement is carried out in-house. It's a paid repair and isn't covered under warranty. Send clear photos of the damage and we'll quote you.

Email [email protected] or visit our help page.

Liquid damage — act fast

Liquid damage isn't covered under warranty. If your phone has been exposed to water or any liquid, act immediately:

  • Turn it off straight away — don't try to use it

  • Don't attempt to charge it

  • Don't press buttons or try to dry it with heat

  • Remove your SIM card if you can

The faster it reaches us, the more we can do. We can carry out a non-board-level deep clean for liquid-exposed devices, which can recover a phone that hasn't had component-level damage. Send it in as soon as possible with a description of what happened.

This is a paid service. Email [email protected] to get the process started, or visit our help page.

Not sure if it's damage or a fault?

If you're not certain whether your issue is physical damage or a developing fault, send us a few clear photos and a short description of what's happening. We'll tell you quickly which route applies — warranty repair, paid repair, or something else entirely.

Photos to send:

  • Front of the device (screen on and off)

  • Back of the device (case removed)

  • Any specific area of concern in good light

Email [email protected] or visit our help page.

Out-of-warranty repairs — what to expect

If your device comes back as not covered under warranty after inspection, we'll give you a repair quote before doing any work. We won't carry out any repair work without your approval first!
