Samsung phones need testing that goes beyond the basics, because the features people rely on most (AMOLED screens, cameras, charging ports, fingerprint sensors, foldable hinges) are exactly the things that show wear first.

AMOLED screen condition — checked for burn-in, brightness, colour consistency, touch response, fingerprint accuracy and pressure marks, especially important on older Galaxy S and Note models.
Battery health and charging — a Samsung may have launched with a big battery, but real-world battery life depends on how it's actually been used and charged, not the spec sheet.
Fingerprint sensors — in-display on most S and Note models, side-mounted on some A-series and foldables. Both are checked for speed and consistency.
