Where can I trade-in my Samsung Tablet?

Samsung have released a wide range of tablets over the years, from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" LTE (2014). They're a brand synonymous with both style and functionality, which means there'll be plenty of buy backs stores (both online and on the High Street) offering either cash or store credit for your Samsung device.

But at The Big Phone Store, we have a Price Match Promise that guarantees you won't find a better deal anywhere else. In the unlikely event that you do, we'll instantly match it! Even better, we always pay out in cash (as a bank transfer). This means that - by using our buy back service - you're never limited by when, where or how you spend any money you make!

How much can I sell my old Samsung Tablet for?

At The Big Phone Store, we only use three factors to value any Samsung Galaxy Tablet - 'condition', 'network' and 'internal storage' (where applicable). To find out how much your device is worth, simply fill in our valuation calculator at top of each product page. It'll give you an instant quotation and allow for direct comparison between devices.

It may sound obvious, but better 'condition' always means better cash value! On each product page, you'll find our 'condition' criteria, which have been split into just four categories: New, Good, Poor and Broken. Most Samsung Tablets sent to us fall into the latter three categories. But if you've got a 'new' Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7", you won't find a better deal for it anywhere else!

When it comes to 'network', we highly recommend you check whether your Samsung Tablet is 'locked' or 'unlocked' from its network provider (EE, BT, Vodafone, etc.). As a general rule, 'unlocked' tablets have a higher trade-in value, so contact your provider or visit their website today - they'll have all the information and instructions you need. 'Unlocking' your device is both simple and straightforward - and usually well worth doing!

With 'internal storage', a higher capacity usually means a higher cash value! You can see any differences in valuation on individual product pages.

How do I sell my Samsung Tablet?

There's only five steps between you and being able to sell your Samsung Tablet to The Big Phone Store! Here's how our hassle-free trade-in process works:

  1. Find the product page. Using the handy drop down menu above or searching through our Samsung Tablet products manually, find and select the product page you need.

  2. Get your valuation and place your order. Our valuation calculator will give you an instant quotation for your tablet. After this, choose a designated bank account for the cash transfer and provide a few important personal details.

  3. Send us your tablet. Once your order's been placed, we'll send a Welcome Pack (usually within 24 hours). It'll contain all the information and instructions you need to send your device. Only pack necessary items - any items sent by mistake cannot be returned.

  4. We check your order. As soon as your package arrives, we'll send an email. We then inspect your order and check the 'condition', 'network' and 'storage' of your tablet.

  5. You get paid! Once everything's been checked and confirmed, we immediately process payment to your chosen bank account!

There's no additional value if you send cases, covers and / or screen protectors with your Samsung Galaxy Tablet. If you send these items, they're considered 'supplementary' and will be disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Is it easy to sell my broken Samsung Tablet?

You can sell your 'broken' tablet to The Big Phone Store. But unfortunately, not every tablet sent to us can be traded-in for cash. In the first instance, take a look at our criteria for 'broken' devices - they cover a large number of damage and / or defect examples. If your Samsung Tablet meets these conditions (most do), we promise you won't find a better price for it anywhere else!

If you're unsure about the state of your 'broken' device, we suggest placing an order with us and selecting 'broken'. We'll thoroughly inspect your tablet and always guarantee a fair assessment of its condition. If your Samsung Galaxy Tablet can be fixed, you'll get a great cash price for it - if it can't, we'll recycle it responsibly on your behalf (see more details below).

Where can I recycle my Samsung Tablet?

There's a growing number of recycling options when it comes to electrical products. It's basically a bad idea to send your unwanted tablet to landfill - where their metal constructions don't decompose easily and their lithium batteries often emit harmful chemicals into the environment.

So if your device is broken and / or damaged beyond repair, you can recycle it with us for free and do your bit for the planet. At The Big Phone Store, we never send electrical parts to landfill. We promise instead to dispose of them in the most environmentally friendly way possible - always following guidelines set out by the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, the Environmental Protection Act (1990) and Hazardous Waste Regulations (2005).
