Why sell my Samsung Galaxy A8 2018?
At The Big Phone Store, we can think of at least three great reasons why you should sell your Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018):
Earn some quick cash!
Because it's both affordable and packed with great features, you won't be short of offers from buy back sites for your phone. But remember... At The Big Phone St
ore, we're never beaten on price! Even better, we only pay in cash (as a bank transfer), so enjoy no restrictions on when, where or how you spend any money you make!
Become phone-clutter free!
Recent surveys indicate that up to half of us have at least five unwanted mobile phones stuffed away in cupboards, drawers and boxes! So sell your Samsung Galaxy A8 and take a significant step towards phone-clutter freedom.
Protect the environment!
With over 250 million mobile phones being upgraded worldwide each year, alarming numbers are still being sent to landfill. At The Big Phone Store, we're committed to protecting the environment and promise to dispose of any part or device sent to us beyond repair in the most responsible, sustainable way possible.
How much can I sell my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) for?
That depends on just three things at The Big Phone Store - 'condition', 'network' and 'storage'. And to help better navigate our valuation process, here's a few tips to maximise any cash return:
Check over our 'condition' criteria (above) - they've been split into just four categories: New, Good, Poor and Broken. Most devices sent to us fall into the latter three categories, but if you have a 'new' Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), you won't find a better price for it anywhere else!
Find out whether your handset is 'locked' or 'unlocked' from its network provider (Virgin Mobile, Three, Vodafone, etc.). Many phones remain 'locked' even after you upgrade, so check with your provider or visit their website today. It's really easy to check if your device is still 'locked' and even easier to 'unlock' it - your network provider has everything you need!
We accept the Samsung Galaxy A8 32GB and 64GB. Bigger internal 'storage' tend to mean higher trade-in value!
The trade-in process
We've designed a super straightforward trade-in process at The Big Phone Store. Here's how easy it is to make money:
Place your order. In just a few clicks, find out how much your phone is worth, choose a designated bank account for the cash transfer and fill out a few important personal details.
Send us your phone. Usually within 24 hours of your order, we'll send a Welcome Pack. Inside, you'll find everything you need to send us your device - including a Freepost Bag and packing instructions.
We check over your order. We'll send an email when your order arrives, before inspecting the device and checking whether the 'network', 'storage' and 'condition' are as you indicated.
You get paid! As soon as everything's confirmed, we immediately process your payment!
It's always a good idea to perform a Factory Reset before selling any unwanted mobile phone. This returns the device to its Factory State and wipes any personal data. Here's our handy guide:
Before proceeding, make sure you have at least 50% battery - if not, connect your Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) to a power source. A Factory Reset also cannot be undone and you'll permanently lose any data. Always ensure personal data you want to keep is either backed up or transferred to another device.
Turn off your phone.
Press and hold the 'Volume Down' and 'Power' buttons for a few seconds. Only release them when the Samsung logo appears on the screen.
In the Recovery Menu, use the 'Volume' buttons to navigate and the 'Power' button to select. Find and choose 'Recovery Mode'.
Then select 'Wipe cache partition', which removes mobile cache and should only take a few seconds to complete.
Find and select 'Wipe data / Factory reset', selecting 'Yes' when prompted. This deletion process may take several minutes to complete.
After this, select 'Reboot system now', which completes the Factory Reset process (again, it may take several minutes to complete).
Selling broken devices
A frequently asked question we get is 'can I sell my damaged Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)'? And the answer is: Yes, as long as it meets our criteria for a 'broken' device.
The best thing to do is look at our 'broken' criteria. If your smartphone meets these conditions (many do), we always guarantee the best possible price for it!
If your Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is broken or damaged beyond repair, then don't despair! You can always recycle it with us for free and do your bit for the planet.
At The Big Phone Store, we never send electrical devices or parts to landfill and promise to dispose of them in the most environmentally friendly possible - adhering to guidance set out by the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, the Environmental Protection Act (1990) and Hazardous Waste Regulations (2005).
