Key indicators of a handset in 'good' condition are a device in full working order with no obvious external imperfections (light wear and tear aside).
Find out whether your phone 'locked' or 'unlocked' from its network provider! If your old Huawei P20 is still 'locked' to a provider (e.g. Vodafone, EE, O2), it usually stands to make less in any trade-in deal. To 'unlock' your device, contact your provider or visit their website - they'll have all the information and instructions you need!
