How to Remove Other Accounts From My Device

REMOVING YOUR GOOGLE/ANDROID/SAMSUNG ACCOUNT

You will need to ensure that all Samsung devices which are returned have had the Samsung or Google account deactivated as we are not able to accept the device if the Samsung account lock is activated.  In such cases the device will be shipped back to the sender. To remove a Google account please follow the same process. This process is shown below:

Option 1 - Removing your Google/Android/Samsung Account using your device

1. Tap the Apps soft key / Menu Key

2. Open Settings

3. Select Accounts

4. Select your ‘Samsung account’

5. Select your email address.

6. Tap ‘more’ in the top right-hand corner and select ‘Remove Account’

7. Tap ‘Remove Account’

8. Enter your password and Confirm ‘Remove Account’

9. Select ‘Remove Account’

10. You will now be signed out from your Samsung account on your device and it will now be removed.

11. Repeat the steps for the Google account if needed.

Option 2 - Removing your Samsung account using your PC or Laptop

1. Go to https://account.samsung.com

2. Sign into your account.

3. Click 'Find My Mobile'.

4. Enter your password and click Sign In.

5. Click 'Registered Devices' and select your device.

6. Click the trash bin icon and accept the disclaimer.

7. Your phone will be deleted from your account.

8. Repeat the steps for the Google account if needed
