Send us your PS4. Within 24 hours of your order being placed, we'll send a Welcome Pack. It'll contain all the information and instructions you need to send us your Playstation 4.

You can! At The Big Phone Store, we do accept 'broken' or damaged PS4 consoles - but unfortunately, not all consoles can be traded-in for cash.
To qualify for a cash payment, your Playstation 4 must meet our criteria for a 'broken' console. Here are some of the key things to look for:
Console may have faults, be damaged or not work correctly.
Console must not be bent, crushed, or in pieces.
Console must have no internal missing parts.
Console must not have been reported lost or stolen. It must also be free of any outstanding finance.
Console must have no missing parts.
Console must have no etching or personalisation.
You must have removed any attached accounts from the console or anything else that limits usage.
Before selling your Playstation 4, you'll need to complete a Factory Reset. This both returns your console to its Factory State and wipes any personal data.
The process is in two-parts and can take several hours to complete. Here's our handy guide:
On the Home Screen, press 'Up' on your PS4 controller. This takes you to the Main Menu.
Then press the 'Right' button until you reach the 'Settings' option. Select it by pressing 'X' on your controller.
After this, scroll the menu until you find the 'PlayStation Network / Account Management' tab. Select it by pressing 'X'.
Find and select the 'Activate as Your Primary PS4' tab.
To disable your PSN account, select the 'Deactivate' option with the 'X' button. Please note: If your PSN account is already 'inactive', the 'Deactivate' option will be inaccessible.
When prompted, select 'Yes' to confirm deactivation (with the 'X' button).
Your console will tell you when the process ends. As soon as it does, select 'OK' to confirm.
The data wipe is the most important part of the Factory Reset process. It ensures that any future user has no access to your account details or personal data.
Please note: When selling your console, we strongly recommend you complete the 'Full' data reset. This will guarantee that no future user can access your personal data.
Log in to your user account.
Press the 'Up' button on your controller on the Main screen and scroll the right until you find the 'Settings' icon. Use the 'X' button to select it.
In the 'Settings' menu, scroll down until you find the 'Initialization' tab. Again, use the 'X' button to select.
Then select the 'Initialize PS4' option.
At this point you are offered two options: 'Quick' and 'Full'. As above, we highly recommend the 'Full' data reset. This takes much longer to complete, but it ensures that any wiped data can never be restored.
After this, select the 'Initialize' option (it should be at the bottom of the screen).
When prompted, select 'Yes' to confirm.
A 'full' data wipe can take several hours and your PS4 may restart several times during this process. When complete, the screen will display a prompt to connect your controller to the console via a USB cable.
