iPad tricks that will transform the way you use it!

iPad’s are without question the best tablets money can buy, the most popular tablets and the best looking tablets. Every year, Apple releases a new iOS operating system update that adds more and more features to your iPad, making it nearly impossible to know all of the tips and tricks of every feature. The new features put on the iPad can help a lot with speed and productivity, they help you by being more efficient and allow one tap to be the same as three swipes.

The main issue with these features is that, not everyone knows them, most of these amazing features are not even advertised or mentioned! Here are five that may have slipped under the radar and can really help you make the most of your iPad.

iPad virtual track pad

Virtual Touch pad

This is the perfect feature for people who use their iPad as a small, personal computer. The main downside to using an iPad, instead of using a PC, is not having a mouse. The touchscreen can be an amazing feature, allowing you to tap and select things a lot quicker than a mouse. The main issue is when it comes to a lot of typing and you want to scroll up or down on a page, it’s horrible. Apple added a virtual touch pad on to the keyboard, this allows you to move the page around without getting rid of the keyboard. To try and use this, follow the steps below.

  • Type on a page using the on-screen keyboard
  • Hold two or more fingers on the screen
  • Move those fingers across the screen without lifting them

Make the speakers louder

If you watch a lot of multimedia videos, like to listen to music or use YouTube on your iPad, you will notice that the sound output is not the greatest. It would be great if you could make them louder without having to buy a portable speaker, what if I told you, you can? Get a bit more volume out of your speakers by changing the settings in the equalizer, follow the steps below to see how.

  • Go to the Settings menu on your iPad
  • Tap on Music
  • Tap on Equalizer (EQ)
  • Choose the Late Night Equalizer
  • Play your music or videos

iPad keyboard split

Split the keyboard into two

This feature is perfect for people who are a lot quicker typing with their thumbs, also great for quick typing when you are in a hurry to get something finished. Apple added this feature to allow people to use their thumbs when typing, not everyone can use their fingers and not everyone can afford their keyboards. To split the keyboard into two, follow the steps below.

  • Get the keyboard up, ready to type
  • Use your thumbs or two fingers and hold them in the middle
  • Split your two fingers/thumbs across to the edges of the screens
  • The keyboard will split with your gesture
  • You can put it back by reversing the motion
