Google Earth VR

Google Earth VR is amazing, a recent update has improved the app and makes it even more immerse. Previously, users could only go to certain spots and look at, what was essentially, a 360-degree photo. Now, you can have full access to street view mode, allowing you to move around your dream locations, giving you a tonne more access.

The new Google Earth VR update now lets you move more freely and has slashed the time it takes to load new places. You’re not being stuck in one area/box, you can now move freely through the streets of an area. Instead of having to put the sphere on your head,  you can now select the preview sphere by pulling the trigger on your control, moving from sphere to sphere at the click on a button

Google Earth VR essentially allows you to experience certain areas on the planet, giving you the chance to see the famous streets of Tokyo, soar over the Grand Canyon and even look around the Eiffel Tower. The Google Earth VR gives you the chance be be fully immersed in these areas, it lets you see the world’s cities, landmarks, and natural wonders. You can even fly over a city, stand at the top of the highest peaks, and even soar into space.

Google Earth VR is supported on both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, meaning you can use it on any of the big VR’s out right now. The game is also free, giving you this immersive and amazing experience for nothing. This is definitely perfect for a traveler or someone who dreams of visiting certain places or areas, this is definitely a must download for any VR user. Get it here
