The new Google Earth VR update now lets you move more freely and has slashed the time it takes to load new places. You’re not being stuck in one area/box, you can now move freely through the streets of an area. Instead of having to put the sphere on your head, you can now select the preview sphere by pulling the trigger on your control, moving from sphere to sphere at the click on a button
Google Earth VR essentially allows you to experience certain areas on the planet, giving you the chance to see the famous streets of Tokyo, soar over the Grand Canyon and even look around the Eiffel Tower. The Google Earth VR gives you the chance be be fully immersed in these areas, it lets you see the world’s cities, landmarks, and natural wonders. You can even fly over a city, stand at the top of the highest peaks, and even soar into space.
